Having completed Phase I, pre-requisites for receiving a Montessori certificate include:

• Attending and/or planning three scheduled seminars during the year of internship (20 hours)
• Preparing 10 learning projects for the classroom
• Completing all interning job description requirements
• Reviewing 8 Montessori books
• Demonstrating competency in the classroom

Montessori Teacher Preparation of Washington awards Montessori certificates to those interning teachers who have satisfactorily fulfilled all requirements.
